Supporting European Union and South East Asia ICT strategic partnership and policy dialogue: Connecting ICT EU-SEA Research, Development and Innovation Knowledge Networks

The 30-month project will contribute to the creation of strategic synergies in the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) research, development and innovation between the EU and SEA and also between SEA countries.  The activities include the transfer of experiences and cross-fertilisation in order to leverage synergies between the countries involved and lay the foundations for strategic partnerships with sustainable impacts.

Partnering with Ideal-ist

Ideal-ist is an international ICT network  with more than 70 partners from EU and non-EU countries, from Associated States, Eastern European Partner Countries (EEPC) and Mediterranean Partner Countries (MPC) and emerging countries like China, Brazil, India, and South Africa.  The ICT NCP Network - active since 1996!   Ideal-ist website here.


CONNECT2SEA Supports e-learning workshop for HORIZON2020 call

The Advanced Science and Technology Institute (DOST - ASTI) and the Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) will gather ICT researchers from Europe, Southeast Asia (SEA) and Japan for possible consortium formation and proposal creation intended for Horizon2020 call "ICT 20 - 2015: Technologies for better human learning and teaching."

Sustain EU-ASEAN: Call for Research and Implementation Proposals

Support for European researchers to travel to ASEAN countries (or vice-versa) and/or within Europe or ASEAN-countries to advance joint research and development projects with good bi-regional cooperation and/or implementation prospects.

EU-SEA Workshop Advanced Computing for Control and Performance Optimization: Algorithms and Applications

Aims to present and discuss the state-of-the-art in algorithms, problem formulations and applications for advanced control and real-time performance optimization.  It will include a panel session on the research and academia-industry collaboration in SEA and between SEA and Europe especially in cyber-physical systems, industrial automation and advanced computing.
