Supporting European Union and South East Asia ICT strategic partnership and policy dialogue: Connecting ICT EU-SEA Research, Development and Innovation Knowledge Networks

The 30-month project will contribute to the creation of strategic synergies in the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) research, development and innovation between the EU and SEA and also between SEA countries.  The activities include the transfer of experiences and cross-fertilisation in order to leverage synergies between the countries involved and lay the foundations for strategic partnerships with sustainable impacts.

Partnering with Ideal-ist

Ideal-ist is an international ICT network  with more than 70 partners from EU and non-EU countries, from Associated States, Eastern European Partner Countries (EEPC) and Mediterranean Partner Countries (MPC) and emerging countries like China, Brazil, India, and South Africa.  The ICT NCP Network - active since 1996!   Ideal-ist website here.


British Council Opens Call for Travel Grant Proposals for Different Developing Countries including Thailand and Vietnam

To enhance and strengthen links for future collaboration, build research capacity in developing economies and enhance the researchers’ career opportunities, the British Council  working with the Higher Education International Unit, opens a call for proposals for travel grants under the Researcher Links initiative, as part of the Researcher Links - Newton Fund, and separately as Researcher Links. 

CONNECT2SEA at the 11th IEEE-RIVF - Deadline for call for papers extended to 15 September

EU-SEA events, funded by the CONNECT2SEA project to foster research and cooperation on Internet of Things and Open Platforms topics, will be organized as part of the IEEE RIVF 2015 international conference, taking place in Can Tho, Vietnam, January 25-28, 2015.
